Is the CallDesk quote generator really free?
Yes. Building a quote and sharing it with a link is completely free, with no credit card required. You only pay if you upgrade to have CallDesk send the quote for you on WhatsApp or turn an accepted quote into an invoice.
Does it handle Irish VAT?
Yes. Add VAT at 13.5% (the reduced rate most construction and repair services use) or 23% (standard rate), or leave it off entirely. The total is calculated for you automatically.
How does my customer see the quote?
You get a shareable link (calldesk.ie/q/...). Send it however you like — WhatsApp, text, email. Your customer opens it, sees the price breakdown, and taps Accept or Decline.
What happens when a customer accepts?
You get an email straight away. If you upgrade to CallDesk, you also get a WhatsApp alert instantly and can turn the accepted quote into an invoice in one click.
Do I need to download an app?
